Unbelievable piece of equipement
This game must be one of the greatest games i have played on any console, ever(apart from timesplitters 2)!! The graphics are fantastic compared to the general standards of gba games. The steering is amazingly smooth. A huge amount of detail is payed to all of the cars. At the start you only have 4 cars and 3 tracks but as you progress more become available
Each car has there own stats from top speed to steering. When you are racing you have a power gauge. As you bump into other cars or the boundaries your power decreases and when you reach zero...BOOM!! In each level there is a pit lane where you can charge up your power.
In grand prix mode, there are 3 different series: pawn, knight and bishop and three different difficulties. So as you can see there is alot to do.
If you are looking for a game that you can just pick up and play whenever you want then buy this game.

Blindingly fast!
Like the classic SNES version, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity for Gameboy Advance is a superb demonstration of its host platforms graphics capabilities. Thankfully the similarities do not end there as the handheld version retains its big brothers instant playability and fiendishly addictive yet challenging courses.

Set at some vague point in the future, the races in F-Zero take place many miles above beautifully rendered bustling neon-drenched cyber-cities. You pilot one of a wealth of lightning-fast vehicles which, this being the future, have miraculously done away with those oh-so cumbersome wheels in favour of a magnet / thrust hybrid, with the result being that you magically float a few feet above the track. Rather unsurprisingly, it is your task to race at blistering speeds against up to 15 other opponents and finish first. However, as with the SNES version, the silky-smooth nature of the vehicles handling combined with the similarly slick scaling graphics make for a refreshing and adrenaline-boosting racing experience that rapidly becomes ridiculously compulsive.

F-Zero: Maximum Velocity is well worth the investment; despite the fact that it is virtually a facsimile of the SNES version (albeit with completely new tracks) it still retains all the hallmarks of a Nintendo classic.

A beautifully engrossing gem of a game
This game, one of the first GBA launch titles, provides a great first buy for any gamers. Firstly, the graphics are simple SNES quality, but do a decent job of representing the action, with virtually no pixellation. However, this gives the game the chance to excel at what F-Zero does best: Speed racing. Along with the enthustiastic midi-guitars, this game belts around the circuits at truly adrenaline provoking speeds. Although this can be confusing at first, within half an hour or so its easily caught onto and the immersion begins. With 4 championships and 4 difficultly levels, theres enough here to keep you at it for quite a while, with the bonuses of a multitude of extra cars being unlocked as you progess (Including the demonically hard Jet Vermillion, requiring Master on every championship with every car). The 4-player link cable also provides excellent fun with high octane competition with friends. Overall, the only other method of getting this level of enjoyment for the money involves a Dodge Viper, rocket fuel, anti-gravity pads and six pints of vodka (Albeit a very cheap Dodge Viper and very strong vodka). F-Zero. Makes more sense than this.
